Fall Fun: What's Going on Around Cleveland This Season?
Northeast Ohio is a great place to celebrate the fall season. Whether it’s Halloween-themed things you want to do, fall colors you want to see, or fall flavors that you want to try, Cleveland and its surrounding cities have you covered. Here are a few of the great events that you can take advantage of this season.
Enjoy the Changing Colors of the Season at Rocky River Reservation. Rocky River Reservation is located in Berea, Brook Park, Cleveland, Fairview Park, Lakewood, North Olmsted, Olmsted Township, and Rocky River. The reservation includes a nature center, marina, stables, and three golf courses. Make a stop at Berea Falls Scenic Overlook, and climb the Fort Hill steps for excellent views.
Northeast Ohio has no shortage of breweries, and they're all producing their fall flavors, which is an ideal time to sip some seasonal brews. The variety of options include Oktoberfests, pumpkin ales, and all the fall flavors in-between. This is a prime season for craft beer lovers.
Pick your produce at Patterson Fruit Farm. Some of Patterson’s Fruit farms' highlights are the pumpkin patch, apple picking, Patterson’s Bakery, a corn maze, haystacks, and a treehouse. Get your children dressed in their Halloween costumes and enjoy trick or treating, unlimited 4-D Theater movies, carousel and train rides, costumed characters, and the monster mash dance party! Boo at the Zoo is the best place to celebrate Halloween with your children. Admission details are Fridays through Sundays, October 11th through 27, from 5 to 9 pm at the Cleveland Metropark Zoo - 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland, OH 44109.
The Halloween Drive-thru event, Lake Metroparks Halloween Drive-Thru, will allow visitors to drive Farmpark’s trails and roadways after dark, experiencing the many playfully frightful sites throughout the park visitors have come to expect from this event. Admission details are $27.50 per carload. (maximum three tickets per household) Tickets will be sold online only. The Drive-Thru will run Thursday through Sunday until November 1st. Start times will be 6:30, 7, 7:30, 8, and 8:30 pm. at Farmpark – 8800 Euclid Chardon Rd. (Rt. 6) Kirtland, Ohio 44094.
